Storyline
Follows the wife of the persnickety father of her 12 children, who has uniquely humorous methods for dealing with the ordeals such an unwieldy family undoubtedly encounters.
Inspired by Frank B. Gilbreth Jr.'s memoirs, "Cheaper by the Dozen" depicts the real-life story of the large Gilbreth family in early-1920s America. With twelve children, Frank Bunker Gilbreth Sr., an efficiency expert, and Lillian Gilbreth, a psychologist, always have a lot on their plate. This film sees them relocate from Providence, Rhode Island to Montclair, New Jersey, where they continue to tackle everything that life throws their way: yet another new baby, tonsillectomies, senior proms, first loves, and sun-kissed summers.
