Chasing Amy is Kevin Smith's most vulnerable film: a sharp, funny romantic comedy that slowly reveals itself as a story about insecurity, ego, and the limits of understanding. Holden, a comic book artist, falls for Alyssa, a fellow creator whose openness pulls him in completely ~ until her past collides with his need to make sense of her. He loves her.
