Carry on Follow That Camel

Disgraced for no fault of his own and in the process losing Lady Jane Ponsonby, the love of his life, naive cricketer Bertram Ogilvy West, an upper crust gentleman through and through, decides to escape his troubles by joining the French Foreign Legion in North Africa. Rather than leave him, his faithful manservant Simpson joins the Legion alongside him, the two unaware that their current master/servant relationship in the finest of conditions wouldn't continue. They, however, are able to do so in befriending their immediate superior, Sgt. Nocker, as they are aware that he has bluffed his own way in the Legion thus far by claiming heroic feats while on patrol by himself, when he really has been cavorting with his Arabic lady friend, cafe owner Zig-Zig. Thing change for the three of them when they and their troop are under real threat by Arab Abdul and his men, the issue exacerbated by the Jane's arrival, she who came looking for him upon learning that he was not the cause of the incident that disgraced him within the cricket community back in England.
