Plot:
A commercial flight with a crew of three and passengers numbering nine is destined to the South American county of Boca Grande. En route, the flight hits a storm and is forced to make an emergency landing in a small clearing in the remote jungles nestled in the mountains. The veteran pilot Bill Lonagan, who has faced his own personal demons and is trying to make it out the other side in tact, gives the collective of the survivors a fifty-fifty chance of making it out alive in that they were blown far off course making any search in what is already the cloud-covered rainy season difficult to begin with now even more difficult. Making their situation more tenuous, some are aware that they have landed in the middle of where headhunters are known to be active. The disparate group, many who would not only not have been friends in civilization but adversaries (in two being a bounty hunter, and his charge, an assassin), have to bind together for any chance of any of them surviving. But they find that in the process that some who traveled in different social worlds and thus would never have even have had the chance to meet, are truly kindred spirits in this world where everyone is equal. But when an opportunity arises for only a handful of them to make it out, those left behind sure to face death, they have to figure out as a group how to choose who potentially lives and who certainly dies.
