Ariane's Thread

On the day of her birthday, the middle-aged Ariane makes a cake to celebrate with family and friends. However, she receives flowers and phone calls with requests of apology, and nobody comes to see her. She drives her car without destination and while waiting for a bridge to open, she befriends the biker Raphael, who invites her to have lunch at the Olympique Cafe at Marseilles. He drives her on his motorcycle, where she meets the owner Denis. However, Raphael meets his girlfriend Lola and leaves Ariane in the restaurant. She takes a taxi to her car that was left at the harbor, but it was towed by the City Hall. The taxi driver takes her to the municipal parking where the car was left. She goes to an ATM to take money to pay the cab driver and the authorities to release her car, but she is stolen by two men in a motorcycle. Ariane returns to the restaurant where she befriends clients including the French Jacques that likes to speak English and the watchman Marcial and is hired by Denis to work at the Olympique Cafe. She helps all of them and meets a talkative turtle that becomes her friend.
