Known as the " lone wolf " to the Chinese NBA fans, Stephon Marbury was the 4th overall pick in the 1996 NBA draft, which considered as the best class in NBA's history, and went on became one of the most popular super star at his time. After 13 years playing in the NBA, he chosen to leave NBA when conflicts arose. He then contacted by Li Nan, a Chinese basketball representative and went on to play professional basketball in China. After two unsuccessful seasons, he joined Beijing Duck team. Stephon Marbury found himself surrounded by a group of talented but inexperienced young players, he somehow led the young team became the 2011-2012 CBA Champion. The victory marked the beginning of "Beijing Dynasty", He and his team have won another two championships. Now Marbury became the first foreign athlete to received Chinese Green Card and owns his personal museum in Beijing. Fans call him "Comrade Ma" because of his love and passion for the city of Beijing and China.
