Plot Storyline

It's Father's Day, and Junyer and Ma have a bunch of big surprises in store for good ol' Pa, including a pipe filled with gunpowder. To top it off, there's a gala Father's Day pageant, and Pa sits cringing through Junyer's recitation and aghast at Ma's tap-dancing rendition of "I'm Just Wild About Father."

Papa Bear doesn't want anything to do with Father's Day. But, Mama and Junior pour on heavy-duty pampering to make sure the holiday is Papa's best day ever. Junior tries to give his "dear ol' Pa" a shave (with a damaged blade, no less!) and fills his pipe with "tobacco" (i.e., gun powder). Later, the two deliver a super-sappy song-and-dance tribute to a clearly uncomfortable audience of one Junior reading a tribute to "My Pa!" and Mama singing "I'm Just Wild About Father."
