A young woman flees through the Veneto countryside, seeking refuge in the construction site of a new, important highway. She is followed by a man with a briefcase who wants to attack and rape her. He catches her but she quickly turns the tables on him. But what seems like the end of the affair is perhaps just the beginning of a nightmare.
