2011 /v/GAs

In response to the disappointing 2011 Spike Video Game Awards, users from 4chan's video games board /v/ band together to create the 2011 Vidya Gaem Awards, a unique, non-profit ceremony celebrating the best and worst in gaming that year. Hosted by DukeLovesYou and co-hosted by Nyanners, the ceremony features 26 awards, community skits, and special guests, including The Best Gamers and ThePuppetPlayer. Organized entirely by volunteers, the 2011 Vidya Gaem Awards bring together a passionate gaming community determined to honor their favorite titles and critique the industry's shortcomings. From the HYPERBOLE AWARD for the most impressive trailer to the VY CANIS MAJORIS AWARD for the fattest developer, the Vidya Gaem Awards offer a unique, irreverent perspective on the gaming world.
