Angel's Egg

While scavenging for food and water in the carcass of a barren, crumbling city, a cryptic girl carrying an egg crosses paths with a bizarre stranger. And curious about the fragile cargo and its content, the nihilistic young soldier accompanies the egg's protector. But as the travelling companions converse about faith and salvation, the urge to break the odd calcium ball grows stronger by the minute. Nevertheless, the sad-eyed, silver-haired defender of the mystical nucleus has sworn to guard the precious find at all costs. Sooner or later, however, both will have to face the truth. What is the price of enlightenment?
