Plot:
Francois Mauge, a young filmmaker, is devastated by the heroin overdose of his wife, Carole. Consumed by grief, he resolves to make a film condemning heroin and casts Lucie, a young actress he has fallen in love with, in the lead role. Despite his passion, no producer will support the project-until Chas, a man connected to Carole, offers him a substantial sum of money. The condition: Francois must transport a suitcase of heroin across borders to secure the funding. Driven by desperation and desire, he accepts and begins filming in Amsterdam with money sourced from the very drug trade he intends to denounce. As production progresses, the line between fiction and reality blurs, and Lucie, fully immersed in her role, begins to descend into addiction herself, mirroring the tragedy that has haunted Francois's life.
