Wild at Heart (1990)

Knowing that the dirty hands of Sailor--the snakeskin-clad lover of her 20-year-old daughter Lula--are all over her slim body, Marietta, her hysterical mother, sends a pitiless assassin to take him out of the picture. Instead, after spending 22 months and 18 days behind bars, the number-one fan of the legendary Elvis Presley reunites with rebellious Lula. As she lends a hand in breaking Sailor's probation, they embark on a dangerous adventure in a black 1965 Ford Thunderbird convertible. Now, the endless stretches of road ahead of them have become a living canvas of impatient passion, fateful encounters, slick double-crosses, and unbridled violence.
