Disillusioned by the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler's tyrannical government, Wehrmacht's crippled war hero, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, decides that--now that the Allies are closing in on Berlin--it is his sacred duty to no longer try to save his country, but to save as many human lives as possible. Now, in need of an audacious scheme to overthrow the Fuhrer and save Germany, an influential cabal of high-ranking officials and politicians usher von Stauffenberg into their inner circle, to set in motion a modified emergency plan that ensures the nation's civil order: the risky Operation Valkyrie. As a result, two concealed bombs in a leather briefcase are more than enough to rid the fatherland of the evil leader; however, will the conspirators of the July 20, 1944, coup emerge victorious?
