Plot:
An anthology film, following 6 seemingly unrelated stories. "Tape 56" is the frame story to the others. A gang of hoodlums has been hired by a mysterious employer to break into an old man's house and steal his archive of video tapes. They have not been told the reasons for this mission. They discover the old man's corpse, but decide to keep searching the desolate house. The gang members start disappearing, until their leader is killed by what seems to be the old man's reanimated corpse. In "Amateur Night", three young men pick up two young women at a bar. They bring them back to their hotel room for a planned gang bang, though they increasingly notice the strange behavior of Lily. She turns out to be a predatory succubus, with a strange fixation on one of the men. In "Second Honeymoon", Stephanie and her husband Sam are vacationing in the deserts of Arizona, but seem to have attracted a mysterious female stalker. The unnamed stalker turns out to be Stephanie's lesbian lover, and they flee the area together after killing the cuckolded Sam. In "Tuesday the 17th", Wendy brings along her three new friends (two men and a young woman) to her annual trip to a lake hidden within the woods. She actually plans to have a final confrontation with a mysterious killer from her past, and her "friends" are just human bait for the killer. in "The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger", Emily confides to her boyfriend about her recent paranormal experiences, and seeks his help in identifying intruders in her apartment. She is unknowingly a living incubator for an alien fetus, and her "boyfriend" is actually her handler. In "10/31/98", a group of male friends get lost while trying to find the location of a Halloween party, and enter a mysterious house without being invited. They interrupt the attempted exorcism of a captive woman, and rescue her from her captors. The woman disappears from their car, their car is mysteriously immobilized on the train tracks, and they are all killed by a train.
