Uljhan (1975) Rare Classic

Police Inspector Anand (Sanjeev Kumar) and Karuna (Sulakshana Pandit) are in love. They meet with the approval of their elders, and are married. Shortly after the marriage, there is a homicide, and the clues point toward Karuna. Anand disbelieves these, but noticing a change in Karuna, starts to actively pursue these clues. The rest of the family, including Anand's dad, a Judge by profession, side with the daughter-in-law, and Anand is left to pursue this against his family's wishes.
