In California, Bob Wilson is happily married with Dez and they have a boy, Andy. One holiday, Bob travels with his family to hike in the mountains and they return late night. While driving back home on the road, they see a bright light following them. Out of the blue, they wake three hours later in their car with no recollections. The family is affected by nightmares and Bob decides to contact the Air Force. Two weird men dressing black with hats and sun glasses visit the family and interview them. However, they ask intimate question and Bob asks them to leave their house. Bobby goes to the police to file a complaint against the agents, but the desk sergeant does not pay much attention. But soon they are harassed by the MIBs and Bob contacts the former military and writer Stan Mills that asks them to go to his facility. Meanwhile, Dez sees the footage that Andy filmed in his camera and learns the scary truth about the bright light.
