The Ones Below (2015)

In London, Kate and Justin live in the suburbs in a two-floor residential building with their cat. Kate is pregnant and has relationship problems with her estranged mother. When the couple Theresa and Jon Baker moves to the first floor, Kate and Theresa immediately befriend each other since they are both pregnant. One night, Kate invites Theresa and Jon to have dinner at her apartment, and a few minutes before their arrival, the lamp in the hall burns out. They have dinner and Kate and Justin learn that Theresa and Jon have been trying to have a baby for seven years. Further, Jon had lives in Shanghai for ten years, reason why the couple has the routine of leaving shoes outside the apartment. Theresa drinks wine hidden from Jon and when they leave the apartment, Theresa trips on the cat and shoes and rolls the stairs. Jon blames Kate and Justin and Theresa has an abortion. Then they leave London and moves to Frankfurt. Theresa leaves a letter to Kate explaining that they have returned to Germany and will only return to London when they would be able to forgive Justin and her. One day, they note that the couple have returned and Kate looks for Theresa and is well received. She asks to see their son Billy and congrats Kate. Will that be the true feeling?
