The Nutcracker and the Mouse King

Conductor John Mauceri and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra play Mauceri's arraignment of a variety pieces centered on Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Symphony, and augmented by other lesser-known Tchaikovsky pieces, to form a complete musical interpretation of the Hoffmann short story of "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King." Alan Cummings dramatically narrates to the music.
