Plot:

Most of the film takes place on the ramshackle old merchant-marine freighter, skippered by Capt. McCall (Ray Collins). The captain and his stalwart crew - the most stalwart of which are Mallory (Pat O'Brien), Sands (George Murphy), Babe (Jackie Cooper), Tarriba (Desi Arnaz), and Berringer (Max Baer) - keep busy by blowing German bombers and U-boats to smithereens.
