The Monster

On a lonely night pouring with rain, Kathy, a single mother grappling with alcohol dependency, and her daughter, Lizzy, are on their way to the girl's father through an ill-lit stretch of forest road. But some things always lurk in the shadows. When Kathy hits an animal in the middle of nowhere, the mother and her child must find the courage to deal with the unbearable uncertainty of what is out there. What kind of creature would do such damage? Is pure motherly love enough to protect them from the monster?
