The Devil's Daughter {1939 Horror}

Sylvia Walton (Ida James)returns to the island of Jamaica to claim the banana plantation she has inherited from her father. This angers her half-sister, Isabelle Walton (Nina Mae McKinney), who desires to own the plantation herself, and who is also jealous of the love of John Lowden (Emmett 'Babe' Wallace) for Sylvia. Returing to the island with Sylvia is her servant, Percy Jackson (Hamtree Harrington) who falls in love with an island girl, Elvira (Willa Mae Lane), who tells him his soul is in danger. To calm his fears, Isabelle performs a fake rite to transfer his soul into the body of a young pig for safekeeping. Percy then dedicates his time in protecting the "soulful" pig. Isabelle plots with Philip Ramsey (Jack Carter), the plantation supervisor, and they induce Sylvia to call upon Isabelle. The latter drugs Sylvia, and takes her to the hill country, where the native cultists, led by their high priest, perform the Blood Dance as a preliminary to sacrificing Sylvia on a burning altar.
