Plot:
Picking up where The Doberman Gang (1972) left off with the five Dobermans, trained to rob a bank and kill in the process if need be, absconding from the bank with $350,000 and from their robber handlers with said money, the proverbial world is on the lookout for them, from the authorities to members of the public, who want the money for themselves. Included in the latter category are late twenty-something friends Steve, Warren, and Greg, whose focus shifts from their regular pursuit of the opposite sex to finding the dogs. While most are looking for the dogs, Greg comes up with a scheme for the dogs to come to them. The scheme works. Not satisfied with what money the dogs are still carrying with them by that time, Steve thinks that they should use the training that the dogs have received to steal for them again. Steve further realizes that they have to choose a target that has a large amount of cash, unknown cash even better. In meeting middle age Claudia at a party, Steve comes up with who he considers the perfect target: Claudia's politician boss Cyrus Markham, who has $2 million in undocumented and thus unreported campaign donations in the safe at campaign headquarters, money that he can't report if stolen. Among the basic hurdles they have to overcome is getting the dogs in and out of the campaign office on the ninth floor of an office building. Beyond Claudia who Steve romances to obtain needed information, one other person enters Steve, Warren and Greg's lives, a Native American boy named Billy, who stumbles into their midst in being attracted to the dogs. While Billy ends up being a benefit to them in having a greater affinity to the dogs, they have to ensure he doesn't find out about their scheme.
