Plot:
Charlie Smith is an Immigration enforcement agent in California. He and his wife live in near-poverty and can not even afford a house. On his wife's suggestion, Charlie applies for a more lucrative border patrol position in El Paso, Texas. He reluctantly agrees to assist his co-worker Cat in a scheme involving the smuggling of illegal immigrants. Charlie is personally interested in a female immigrant, and agrees to privately investigate the recent kidnapping of her baby. In the process, Charlie realizes that Cat is involved in a series of recent murders, silencing anyone who might compromise his operation. When Cat attempts to murder him, Charlie retaliates in lethal ways.
