Desperate for cash to have a costly operation, athletic hunting guide Marcia heads home in her old car after having a bad day. With a borrowed envelope in her pocket, she hopes its contents will at least cover the hospital bill. Instead, she finds herself stranded in a remote German village deep within a thick forest. Now stuck at Countess Badesky's rumour-filled estate, Marcia teams up with local fisherman Josh to further investigate the strange incidents happening around her. But a centuries-old curse from the grave has already entangled the ex-pentathlete in a bloody survival game.
