Plot:

1983. Two Soviet cosmonauts return to Earth after a mission in space. On re-entry one dies and the other is found to be inhabited by a parasitic alien being. The Soviet authorities call in a fearless, innovative doctor to try to decouple the parasite from the host. However, even she is not prepared for what awaits her.
