Southbound (2015)

Mitch and Jack are driving their truck on a highway fleeing from flying creatures with blood on their faces and clothes. They stop at a gas station and when they leave, they return to the gas station over and over and learn that they are trapped on the road. Sadie, Ava and Kim are members of a jazz band, and they are traveling in their Kombi. When they have a flat tire in the middle of the desert, they do not have a spare tire and the strange couple Betty and Dale offer a ride. The girls go to their house and are invited to have dinner with their friends when weird things happen. Sadie flees from the house, and the driver Lucas is talking to his wife Claire and does not see her in the middle of the road. Lucas leaves his car to see Sadie, who is badly wounded on the road. He dials 911 but he cannot provide his location. The attendant asks him to drive with Sadie to a nearby town and take Sadie to the hospital. The place is empty and the attendant give instructions to Lucas with a surprising conclusion. A stranger named Danny invades a bar trying to find the whereabouts of his sister Jesse. The bartender Al tells him that he knows where Jesse is and Danny forces Al to drive to the location. He meets Jesse that asks his brother to go away, but he kills Al and abducts Jesse. Soon he finds where he is. Daryl and Cait are spending vacation in a rented house with their teenage daughter Jem. Out of the blue, three masked men break into their house to slaughter the family.
