Second Chances

Computer expert Shane begins working at the Dead Letter Office at the main branch of the Denver Post Office instead of what was to be her true assignment. The job is under the the leadership of officious Oliver, who always looks and behaves like he just stepped off the silver screen in a leading man role from the 1950s, and with shy, photographic memory Rita, and socially unaware Norman, a whiz with any reference book. Shane working in this old fashioned environment will be a challenge, and is only temporary as the assignment was a bureaucratic error and is thus only until her requested transfer to that true assignment gets processed. In dealing with one of those dead letters, written by a young woman named Kelly to a young man named Charlie about their one and only date the day before she wrote this letter about why she dictated that that date would be their one and only, and an exceptional one at that based on the premise of it, the team works through not only finding Charlie but doing so quickly due to the time sensitive issue Kelly had written about in the letter.
