Screamers

In 2078, the planet Sirius 6B has turned into a toxic wasteland after mining exploration of Berynium, a powerful energy source, and the war between the mining company (NEB) and the Alliance formed by the mining people and scientists. When the miners find that the extraction of Berynium releases toxic gases, the mining company sends mercenaries to break their strike. The Alliance scientists create the screamers, a war machine with A.I. and capable of replicate, and their soldiers wear a tab around the wrist to broadcast a signal to the machines to stay safe. When Comdr. Joe Hendricksson receives a message from a NEB soldier in his bunker, he learns that NEB is proposing a truce and he contacts Earth that authorizes the deal. Hendricksson goes with the newcomer soldier Ace Jefferson to the NEB compound to meet the NEB Commander Richard Cooper. During their journey, they meet the boy David, who asks to go with them since he is alone. When they are near to the NEB compound, two soldiers shot David, who is indeed a new generation of screamer. They join the soldiers Becker and Ross, who take them to their leader Jessica Hanson. Now the five soldiers go to the facility where their Comdr. Cooper is, is a journey of discoveries.
