Commanded to "scram" out of town by a cantankerous judge, poor vagabonds Stan and Ollie find themselves roaming the city's empty and rainy streets, only to stumble upon a sympathetic inebriate. Moved by their kindness, the friendly fellow invites the homeless duo into his home to spend the night; however, is this the right house? In the end, as the boys slip into something more comfortable--the owner's silk pajamas--an inevitable encounter with the lady of the house and the truly unexpected real proprietor will soon lead to the latter's wrath. But it was only an innocent and friendly visit, wasn't it?
