Plot
Storyline
A loyal and dedicated Hong Kong Inspector teams up with a reckless and loudmouthed L.A.P.D. detective to rescue the Chinese Consul's kidnapped daughter, while trying to arrest a dangerous crime lord along the way.
When a group of ruthless criminals kidnaps the daughter of the Chinese consul in Los Angeles, her father turns to an old friend to aid the FBI in their investigation. Instead, Inspector Lee, an ace Hong Kong Police detective, quickly realises that the bureau isn't thrilled about outsiders getting in their way. So, to keep Lee on a short leash, they pair him up with motor-mouthed LAPD Detective James Carter. Of course, neither is pleased with the arrangement. And the question remains. Can this mismatched duo put aside their differences and crack the case before it is too late?
