Bac Street

Simon lives in a cultured, upper-middle-class family dominated by his mother, Alice. His cousin Raphael comes from a more modest background, but Simon is very fond of him. When Raphael falls in love with Marie, a book editor, he decides he wants to become a writer in order to impress her. To help him, Simon agrees to act as his ghostwriter, secretly writing a novel in Raphael's name. This deception sets off a chain of emotional, literary, and family complications, gradually disrupting their relationships and revealing hidden tensions within the family.
