The plot follows the romance between the two orphans Raja (Dhananjay) a cable operator and Rani (Shruti Hariharan), a village belle. Both are natives of the same village and grow up together as friends, fall in love and decide to get married. They even get a date fixed by an astrologer and everything seems to be going well. Things take a turn when Rani, who is a die-hard fan of the actor Darshan, decides that she wants to go to Bengaluru and watch her idol's film Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna on its 100th day. Raja who has always fulfilled Rani's wishes agrees to her demands and brings her to the city. Disaster strikes right after the two lovers step into a temple to gather blessings after buying a ticket for the show. The two of them enetre the thetare and suddenly Rani goes missing. Where she disappears and how Raja reacts after she returns four days later bring us to the second half of the film.
