Bearing no connection to her heritage, Korean-born Frederique Benoit, a 25-year-old woman adopted by a French couple and raised as French since infancy, visits South Korea for the first time on a whim. And accompanied by new acquaintance Tena, impulsive Freddie reluctantly decides to trace her birth parents, unwittingly triggering a challenging voyage of self-discovery. However, heavy emotional baggage holds Freddie back. Like a fish out of water, the young visitor searches for answers in a strange, vast land.
