Dutch schoolkids (aged 12) Siem and Winnie come from broken homes, related to overseas parental adventurism, and meet in class. Then his father Rik and her mother Tosca fall in love and move into a joint home. Fearing mounting stress may result in another divorce, the step siblings conceive an instruction video for sustainable relationships, helped by cousin Milko, a drop-out and gifted director. In the process, Siem and Winnie discover their own romantic feelings and learn from those.
