Porn star is a controversial documentary about a main stream culture we don't wasn't to know about. Teenagers are willingly seeking out the porn industry while testing their own boundaries and just for excitement, with participating in strip shows and porn movies. Without moralizing, the film follows a couple of young girls, with main focus on Vanessa (19), which have gotten to know the porn star Rocco, and befriends him, as well as participates in his shows and films. They seek to get known, easy success and love. With this we get to know that porn is an everyday thing in young peoples life. It starts off when we meet Vanessa, which tells she has been seeking out Rocco, and then starts a relationship with him. We follow them seeking out young teenagers to cast in their porn movies. For two years the film maker, John Sullivan, followed the dynamic trio Rocco, Vanessa and their photographer Slick Rick, and Vanessa's starting career as a porn star.
