Pocket Listing" centers on a disgraced, once high-flying Los Angeles real estate agent named Jack Woodman (James Jurdi). Once a successful, slick Los Angeles property broker, Jack's decadent world is turned upside down when a shady deal and an act of revenge by the drug-addled son of his real estate mogul boss, Ron Glass, get him fired. He loses everything and ends up working as a live-in superintendent at a run-down slum building. After a year, Jack is given an opportunity to get back in the game when a mysterious power couple hires him. This "power player," named Frank Hunter (played by Rob Lowe), and his seductive wife, Lana (played by Jessica Clark), want Jack to discreetly sell their lavish Malibu villa-a "pocket listing". The seemingly simple transaction quickly becomes a dangerous and complicated scheme. Jack finds himself entangled in a world of double crosses, adultery, violence, and criminal activity involving Russian mobsters and other unsavory characters. He must navigate this treacherous landscape to survive and close the deal.
