PLANES 2

Brodie (Gerard Butler) is a flight captain on his way from Singapore to Hawaii to visit his family after being away on business. He is accompanied by a small crew and a handful of passengers, including Louis (Mike Colter), a convicted felon who is being transferred to a new location. As Brodie expertly navigates his aircraft over Southeast Asia, the plane encounters a storm, and a lightning strike forces the captain to make an emergency landing. The crew and passengers survive the crash, but with no communication or power, Brodie decides to search for help. To do so, he must rely on the assistance of Louis, who plans to escape at the first opportunity. The men discover that they are on an island at war, controlled by a militia led by Dele (Yoson An), who fills his coffers by taking hostages. But Brodie and Louis are not the only ones looking for ways to deal with the chaotic situation on the island. A special task force led by Scarsdale (Tony Goldwyn) also shows up to find the plane.
