Pattinte Palazhi

A story of blinding ambition, love, and betrayal. Veena is an ambitious young singer who comes from a middle-class Brahmin family. She aspires to become a successful singer, but feels that her current circumstances--including her family--are holding her back. Enter Amir. He falls in love with Veena almost on first sight. He promises to help and promote her music career. She is torn; Amir is a Muslim and her conservative Hindu family will not accept this union. But her ambition takes over and she relents. Almost immediately after marrying Amir, an old friend contacts Veena with a great opportunity. She is ecstatic. Bliss, right? From here 'Pattinte Palazhi' takes several twists and turns.
