  • Release date: 13 Apr 2007
  • Release year: 2007
  • Runtime: 99 minutes
  • Country: United States, Canada
  • Keywords: snow adventure, american indian, american, boy, native american, viking, native american hunter, sword and shield, remake of norwegian film, mountain
  • Budget: $45,000,000
Plot:
Much of the story is taken from the Norwegian film Veiviseren from 1987 by Nils Gaup. Nils Gaup was inspired by Sami legends in which Russian-Tjuder or Karelian-Tjuder are overcome by a Sami Pathfinder. There are many indications that the background for the legends is Karelian robbery against the Sami in the 12th and 13th centuries.
