Santa Rosa, California, 2013. Days before Christmas, the Fleege family moves into their dream home, a property founded on the ashes of a decades-old supernatural conspiracy. Now, the dark energy in Paranormal Activity 3 (2011) has found a new host. When the new owners discover a heavily modified video camera and a cache of unsettling VHS tapes, they realise the lens can see what the human eye cannot: oily, shifting distortions bleeding into reality. But as the strange camera exposes the unseen, the family's youngest daughter begins communicating with a malevolent entity named Tobi. With a sinister shadow aching for flesh, the black gateway is ajar. And once it is wide open, who can seal shut the Ghost Dimension?
