Our Man Flint (Daniel Mann, 1966) [RePoPo]

An organization has learned how to control the weather to create man-made "natural" disasters, their goal obviously to take over the world. The three scientists who developed the technology eventually make themselves known, and while their motives are altruistic at least in their own minds, their backers, an organization called Galaxy have more nefarious goals. Members of the Zonal Organization World Intelligence Espionage - ZOWIE - a consortium of the leading nations' security and intelligence services, want to recruit retired American spy Derek Flint to lead the mission to discover Galaxy's hideout to destroy it, much against the protestations of the US member, Cramden, Flint's former boss, as Cramden knows that Flint is a renegade who doesn't know how to take orders preferring to do things his own way. While Cramden eventually relents, trying to convince Renaissance and ladies man Flint to do the job is another matter, he preferring to continue his quest for ultimate knowledge and skill with the assistance of his four beautiful female associates. Flint does change his mind when Galaxy just assumes he's on the case in they trying to kill him. As Cramden suspected, Flint does indeed do things his own way with all the skills and knowledge he's learned as opposed to the government way. While Flint faces the usual dangers of a spy in trying to discover those behind Galaxy, he may face the ultimate hurdle if a beautiful woman is involved on the other side, that indeed being the case in the curvaceous form of Gila.
