OSS 117 Rio ne repond plus

After a wild party in Gstaad in 1967, Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath, alias OSS 117 (Jean Dujardin), a French spy, receives a new assignment from his boss. Professor von Zimmel (Rudiger Vogler), a former Nazi, has fled to Rio and is blackmailing France with a secret list containing the names of high-ranking men who collaborated with the Nazis during World War II. Under a false name, which he was once again not allowed to choose himself, and disguised as a journalist, OSS 117 arrives in Rio with a suitcase full of money. The first handover fails. In addition, OSS 117 is being followed by a Chinese man who has a score to settle with the agent from Gstaad. Soon, OSS 117 makes an interesting acquaintance: Mossad wants to hire him. The Israeli agents, including the attractive Dolores (Louise Monot), a lieutenant colonel in the army, are to work with him. The goal is to bring Zimmel, like Eichmann, to Israel to stand trial there. Accompanied by von Zimmel's son Heinrich (Alex Lutz), who lives with hippies on the beach, OSS 117 and Dolores set out to find von Zimmel. Because of the crazy Chinese man, the three crash their small plane over the jungle on their way to Brasilia. When they finally reach the city, a large costume ball in a castle turns out to be a secret Nazi party. The host is von Zimmel, who presents his idea of the "Fifth Reich." And Heinrich is not who he claims to be either. But nothing can stop OSS and Dolores. The final confrontation between OSS and von Zimmel, who initially manages to escape again and again, even from the hospital, takes place on the Jesus statue high above Rio.
