Plot
Storyline
When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world into New York City.
With the Blue Moon Festival just around the corner, the Smurfs prepare to celebrate the exciting event in their well-hidden mushroom village. However, when evil wizard Gargamel and his loyal cat Azrael gate-crash the party, a magical water portal whisks the Smurfs off to a strange new land: New York City's Central Park. As wise Papa Smurf and his co-travellers--Smurfette, Clumsy, Brainy, Gutsy, and Grouchy--seek shelter in the apartment of compassionate Patrick and Grace Winslow, the tiny blue creatures must race against time to figure out a way to return home. Can the Smurfs escape from the world of giants before Gargamel finds them?
