Plot:
This is one of those films that has cavemen living in the same era as dinosaurs -- scientifically inaccurate, of course, but it does make for a fun film. Showing that people were no different back then than they are today, the cavemen and cavewomen have endless sex (lots of it), eat a lot of food, and sometimes jealous cavemen will fight over a cavewoman. Since this film's script was written by Ed Wood, Jr., even the animals get into the sexual swing-of-things: a Tyrannosaurus rex (which is very obviously a hand-held plastic toy) pulls the fur top off of a cavewoman, and a gorilla pursues a cavewoman for mating purposes. Because it is a caveman film (and cavemen did not talk much), there is not any snappy Ed Wood, Jr. dialogue, and that is sorely missed by his fans; however, the title of the film is a great Ed Wood, Jr. pun.
