Before Omarion became a young American heart throb, he ran with a local gang. In a desperate act to change his life, and with the help form his older bother IMX member Marques Houston, the teen decide to escape the violence on the streets to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Omarion's gift allowed him to be added as the fourth member of the group B2K. The successful R&B group quickly topped the music pop charts. He would then go on to achieve five number #1 hits singles including a collaboration with Nick Cannon, P-Diddy and Fabulous. Omarion also displayed his dancing skills on the hit movie "You Got Served". It wasn't long before the group encountered management problems, causing the successful teens of B2K to split up. However, Omarion was fortunate in that he could continue his career as a solo R&B artist
