Johan Nagel, a wealthy and enigmatic stranger arrives in a small coastal village on the Isle of Man. His presence disrupts the quiet life of the locals as he befriends an outcast dwarf and becomes deeply entangled with two very different women in the town - one virtuous and the other a seductive figure of desire. As Nagel's behavior grows increasingly unpredictable, his romantic obsessions and philosophical eccentricities blur the line between charm and madness.
