Miranda

In a small late 1940s town outside Venice, the voluptuous innkeeper Miranda runs the family business by herself. After all, her husband has been missing in action since World War II. Rather than remarry, Miranda vows to wait for his return. However, this is an idle promise as she has an affair with Berto, a handsome young transporter. Meanwhile, Tony, Miranda's secret admirer, is unwilling to take the situation lying down. While looking for the ideal substitute to console herself for her loss, Miranda delights in subjecting her suitors to erotic trials--titillating love tests for each season.
