Plot
Storyline
In this erotic comedy, Miranda is the landlady of a small country tavern who is looking for a husband, and tries out a variety of men for size.
In a small late 1940s town outside Venice, the voluptuous innkeeper Miranda runs the family business by herself. After all, her husband has been missing in action since World War II. Rather than remarry, Miranda vows to wait for his return. However, this is an idle promise as she has an affair with Berto, a handsome young transporter. Meanwhile, Tony, Miranda's secret admirer, is unwilling to take the situation lying down. While looking for the ideal substitute to console herself for her loss, Miranda delights in subjecting her suitors to erotic trials--titillating love tests for each season. Eventually, the search will come to an end. But who will be the lucky one standing next to beautiful Miranda at the altar?
