Plot:
The clip for this song was filmed in Salt Lake City, Utah in December 1996. The video was directed by Matt Mahurin, who also made a video for the song "The Unforgiven", and also made a video for such artists as Motley Crue and Queensryche. According to the clip's story, a solitary self-proclaimed king walks through the snow-covered forest and valley, changing the cardboard crowns, while the Metallica musicians play in the night forest against the background of snow and bonfires.
