Level 16

In a closed and secure academy, girls of various ages are trained by Miss Brixil (Sara Canning) and Dr. Miro (Peter Outerbridge) to become "virtuous" women. The rule-abiding Vivien (Katie Douglas) has just reached Level 16, i.e. the age of 16. At this age, the girls are offered the prospect of adoption by a family. In Level 16, Vivien meets her former classmate and friend Sophia (Celina Martin) again. Although the two have a difficult history, Vivien trusts Sophia when she advises her to secretly resist taking sleeping pills disguised as vitamins. While in a state of pseudo-sleep, Vivien witnesses herself and another girl being presented to prospective adoptive parents. Vivien realizes that the girls are actually being sold. Vivien and Sophia then plan to escape together, revealing the cruel secret of what awaits them and their classmates if they are sold.
